What matters most in my client's life is the following:

Recreation – enjoying the activities (hobbies) that bring them the most pleasure and satisfaction
Money – It’s just a tool. That’s why it’s always the last priority. Yes, being a good steward of your money is important. However, clients understand the value of delegation to an experienced fiduciary, so that they may balance their time between family, occupation, and recreation.

Eric Flaten, Founder & Senior Advisor
As the founder of ePersonal Financial, Eric has developed a proprietary process that replaces client apprehension with confidence. The power of 'e' simplifies the complex and increases transparency. Eric is passionate about helping his clients achieve a work optional life. Over the past 29 years, he has developed a deep understanding of the wealth management process to efficiently execute the seven pillars of a Complete Family Office.
Eric graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Business Administration with specializations in Accounting and Finance. In addition, he holds his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation. Eric has a thirst for continuing education and holding himself to a high standard of ethics.
A lifelong resident of the Puget Sound area, Eric discovered, fell in love, and relocated to Gig Harbor in 2014.
Throughout Eric's career, Eric has managed to find balance among his professional and personal life. From enjoying quality time with his wife, Sherrie, and being a father to their adult children. Enjoy's every opportunity to get outside: as an avid cyclist, stand-up paddleboarding around Raft Island or Wollochet Bay, and the exhilaration of snow skiing and the daily walks with his Australian Labradoodle, Blake plus Kallie our new Benerdoodle.
